Events and tournament basics
How event and tournament help differs for participants, staff, and owner/admin users.
Events and tournaments
Events and tournaments are published when they are ready for member or public participation. A visible event or tournament page should show the name, date and time, access level, price when applicable, and whether registration is open, upcoming, active, completed, or unavailable.
Before joining, review who the event is for, whether membership is required, and whether the event uses normal session booking, a special tournament registration path, or staff-managed participation. If the page shows no visible tournaments or classes, the studio has not opened member-facing enrollment for that category yet.
Tournament participation can include bracket, score, ranking, or result handling that differs from open play. The member-facing page should give participants enough context to register and attend, but staff-only correction tools, closeout steps, and administrative result handling remain restricted.
If you need help choosing an event, ask the studio which format fits your experience level, schedule, and goals. If you are already registered and the date, access, or payment state looks wrong, include the event or tournament name when contacting support.
Common questions: use the public event or tournament page for availability and registration state; use sessions help when the event is booked as a normal session; use contact support for eligibility, schedule, or registration questions that are not clear on the page.
