Campers will learn the basics of the game through age-appropriate lessons, hands-on activities, crafts, and guided play in a warm, encouraging environment. Kids will begin learning on a kid-friendly Mahjong set designed to make the tiles and game flow easier to understand. Over the course of camp, they'll gradually transition to a traditional Mahjong set, helping them build confidence step by step. This camp focuses on learning, confidence, patience, pattern recognition, decision-making, creativity, and social connection — all while having fun around the Mahjong table. Teen Mahjong Camp: Ages 13+ Teen Mahjong Camp is a fun, focused, and social way for teens to learn the game of American Mahjong. Designed for ages 13 and up, this camp introduces teens to the basics of Mahjong while also building strategy, confidence, and connection. Whether they are completely new to the game or have played a little before, teens will learn in a supportive environment that makes the game approachable, modern, and fun.
